Group Tackles EFCC For Linking Ex-FCT Minister To Corruption, Urge Supporters To Sheath Sword

A renowned political group known as Kaura support group has cautioned the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) to toe the path of honour to ensure that the former FCT minister is not linked to corruption.

This was just as the group urged the entire supporters of the former Minister Senator Bala Mohammed to remain calm.

The chairman of the group Yusuf Rakis Mohammed and Mohammed Sulaiman Bello respectively dropped the hint while addressing selected journalists in Bauchi, as they also said the former minister served the nation transparently

According to the group, nothing against the former Minister will be proved being a diligent, prudent and accountable public servant regretting why the latter is being detained by the EFCC.

Bello added that if the former FCT minister is being investigated for land swap, the EFCC should treat the matter with caution adding that both National assembly and the FCDA committee’s had earlier exonerated him when they were briefed by the later.

As supporters, we caution the anti-graft not to continue to held in custody even when he has met all the bail conditions,  instead refer the matter to the court of law as it’s the only destination for the common man.

It noted with regret, that the travails of the former FCT minister is link to politics attributed to his good track records saying it demonstrate the implementation of script in favour of the masters.

The group maintained that, Bala was not arrested as said in some quarters, but personally went to the EFCC office on invitation and urged mischief-makers to shut-up by not heating the polity.

“We are sure that Bala will be vindicated and his travails is not unconnected to the good reputation of the former Minister eyeing the gubernatorial seat ahead of 2019” said the group.

The group however, found it expedient to identify with the former Minister in solidarity in respect of attracting speedy development to the entire nation and urges their supporters to be law abiding.

The group further express support to President Buhari’s fights against corruption and urge the EFCC to treat the matter with caution.
