Group Petitions Police, List Persons Threatening Peaceful Gombe CAN Election.

The Commissioner of Police, Gombe Command, has been urged to provide adequate security during the Gombe CAN election scheduled to hold on the 14th December 2021.

The spokesman of the group Rev. Abraham Peters said the security agencies’ intervention becomes imperative to avoid any crisis following a desperate move by some cabals with a particular bloc to disrupt the election.

Rev. Abraham said the call became necessary to enable us to elect credible leaders and substantive CAN Officials.

The trouble is orchestrated in ECWA/TEKAN and CPFN/PFN bloc by the selfishness of few who want to control CAN perpetually. It was gathered that Rev Abare Kala, northeast CAN chairman is boasting that he will cancel  the 14th December 2021 CAN election because the majority of the Delegates vowed to elect neutral candidates as their officials this time.

In another development, the Women and Youth wing of CAN Gombe held two separate meetings calling on ECWA TEKAN to substitute five selfish delegates from ECWA with neutral people. According to the WOWICAN Leader Mrs. Zainab, the women and youth will lock up the CAN Centre with Big padlock and ensure they protest if the Leaders fail to do the needful.

Gombe CAN election has been canceled more than three times and we will ensure the 14th December 2021, election usher in credible officials for CAN Gombe, whosoever wish to sabotage this election will be put to shame Rev. Abraham said.
