A group of Plateau Northern Senatorial District under the aegis of Plateau Youth Concern Forum, on Monday, drummed support for Hon Amos Tongwe for the running mate to Hon Caleb Mutfwang as the deputy Governor slot in the forthcoming general elections in Nigeria.
The spokesman of the group, Comrade Ishaku Azi Innocent says, the choice of Hon Amos Tongwe is the best for the politics of the state.
According to him, the slot of the Deputy Governor seat will promote the political activities of the state, he has been an ardent lover of PDP and a grassroots politician to the core.
He employed the Governor and the PDP to make the right choice of person for the seat of a deputy governor in Jos North LGA.
Innocent lamented that Hon Amos Tongwe has served PDP diligently in various capacities as contact committee, protocol presently chief of staff to the Member Representing Jos North -West constituency in the House of Assembly.
Hon Amo Tongwe hailed from Jos, Bassa Federal Constituency and is a workaholic that has promoted democracy in the state in all capacities.
He disclosed that giving the deputy governor seat slot to youth would encourage the participation of the younger generation in politics and improve their well-being.
Speaking further on the quality of leadership of Amos Tongwe ,Musa explains that youth are the vanguards of transformation in the society so his appointment would uplift the political affairs of the PDP in Plateau state.
Innocent emphasized that the youth are the problem of themselves because they’re the ones blackmailing each other’s to make sure they block it.
He stated that youth are advocating for the mineralization of delegates where they push for money politics.
Innocent maintained that the like of Amos Tongwe is a David in the Bible whose blessing surprised everyone, he is not tribalistic so he should be considered for the PDP deputy governor.
He stressed that in the spirit of fairness the northern deputy governor slot because we have what is called Calebrations .
Innocent said, we are working hard to see Caleb Mutfwang clinch the next governorship seat by employing youth to work toward tremendous achievement success.
