Speaking on behalf of IPAD, the State Coordinator, Comrade  Aku Abdul Obidinma, expressively condemned the alleged looting of Imo properties by the Rescue Mission led administration of Gov.Okorocha, for the past two weeks.

“We are against the looting of our collective properties as Imo people. If Rochas is now aware, then he should caution those on such unlawful and illegal removal, stealing and looting of the state treasuries. If you visit the Imo State Secretariat along Owerri/Port Harcourt Road, Televisions, Refrigerators and all the electric Transformers made for power supply have been looted, Street Lights fixed along Owerri/PH road axis are have been dismantled and allegedly looted. Visit the Imo International Convention Center, IICC, all the Air-Conditioners are missing. Then go to some of the State Govt. Parastatals and other offices, the looting were unbearable”, he submitted.

“So nobody will say that the Gov. Okorocha is not aware of the unlawful activities and stealing by some of his aides”, Comrade Aku alleged.

Responding, the Imo State Police Command Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Mr. Orlando G. Ikeokwu, said “we have received all your complaints. We shall commence proper investigations right away. We shall set up machinery to get all those or anybody involved in the alleged looting of govt. properties arrested”.
