In furtherance of the commitment of the Nasarawa State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule to providing a conducive atmosphere for teaching and learning in the State-owned Isa Mustapha Agwai 1, Polytechnic, Lafia had set up a high power 10-man visitation panel to unravel hidden issues in the institution enveloped by internal wranglings leading to slow pace of development.
The visitor to the Polytechnic, Abdullahi Sule announced the constitution of the panel on Wednesday and the committee was given six weeks to conclude its assignment.
The former President of Nigeria Council of Engineers and Chairman of the panel is , Engineer Ali Rabiu with the following as members.
The State Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice Bar.Labaran Shuaibu Magaji Member.
Others are the Chairman of the then investigative panel and the immediate past Commissioner of Education Hon.Fati Sabo Jimeta.
Joseph Ancho, The former Head of Service, Isa Abubakar Abdullahi, Permanent Secretary, Political Affairs, Prof.Haruna Ayuba of the Nasarawa State University, Keffi.
Other members of the visitation panel are, Prof. Aruwa Suleiman, Prof. Saidu Umar Saidu, Dr. Vincent Ebuga Ayah, and Mohammed Sani Bala, The Permanent Secretary Ministry of Education.
The high-powered visitation panel was given six weeks to submit its report to the visitors of the Polytechnic, The committee is to take stock of releases, screening of manpower, monthly wage bill of staff, Internally Generated Revenue inclusive of all collections, and amongst other things.
