Governor Jang Approves Late Solomon Lar Burial Committee By Yakubu Ventim
The Plateau State Governor, Jonah David Jang has approved the constitution of National Funeral Planning Committee for the Late Civilian Governor of Plateau State and Elder Statesman, His Excellency, Chief Dr. Solomon Daushep Lar (CON).
The Committee which is to be chaired by Professor Jerry Gana, has Barrister I.D Gyang as secretary.
Membership is drawn from Plateau and Nassarawa States, the family of Chief Lar, The Presidency, Office of the Senate President, Office of the Speaker, House of Representatives, National Headquarters of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, as well as Associates from across the country.
The committee has been mandated to immediately commence preparations for a befitting funeral for one of the nation’s foremost statesmen and pillar of Democracy.
