A member representing Akwanga West at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Peter Mbvcho has stated that Governor Al-Makur has performed better than the former elected Governors who has ruled the state.
Hon. Peter Mbvcho member representing Akwanga West has applauded Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura for an excellent performance as the third elected governor of the state.
The honorable member stated this at the red chamber, saying the incumbent governor has done his best in the history of the state; he in addition commended the governor for the execution of projects.
“Nasarawa state like her counterpart created in 1996,you are an eye witness and Judges that would attest that Al-Makura has done his best in the provision of basic social amenities.
Hon.Oberre Kana and Hon.Tanko Tunga commended the state governor for the presentation of budget at the appropriate time, the majority leader, Tanko Tunga moved a motion for the adoption of 2017 appropriation.
The House of Assembly for the second day has screened Engr.Yahaya Wada from Keffi, others are Bamaiyi Anangba from Kokona and Abdulkarim Kana from Kokona, expectations are high that Engr. Wada maybe posted to ministry of Works, Housing and Transport.
Expectations are high that Muhammad Jameel Zakari may head the ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism.
