The Nasarawa State House of Assembly has received the re-nomination of Alhaji Mohammed Musa Dan’Azumi, the Executive Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board( SUBEB), and three new members as Chairman and permanent members of the board.
RT. Hon Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, the Speaker of the House announced this during the House proceedings today in Lafia.
The speaker said,” We have received a letter from His Excellency, Gov. Abdullahi Sule nominating Alhaji Mohammed Musa Dan’Azumi as Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board ( NSUBEB).
“The governor nominates Sameel Bariki as Permanent member 1 from Akwanga Local Government Area, Musa Sule Usman, permanent member 2, from Lafia Local Government Area, and Joseph Kaura, permanent member 3, from Karu Local Government Area of the state respectively.
” I will direct the clerk of the House to communicate to the nominees to submit their CVs from now to Friday this week,” he said.
The speaker directed that the nominees should come for their screenings and possible confirmations next week, Monday, March 15th, 2021.
