Gov. Ganduje Commissions Murtala Muhammad Specialist Hospital’s Newly Renovated Maternity Theater

The theater of Murtala Muhammad Specialists Hospital in Kano has been commissioned by Governor Umar Ganduje

The theater hasn’t seen major renovation since the construction of the hospital over 93 years until now when the government of Ganduje awarded contracts for its upgrade in collaboration with Dangote Foundation and MNCH2 an international NGO which have both contributed immensely in the development of the health sector due to the commitment shown by Governor Ganduje.

The newly renovated theater has a capacity of over 90 deliveries per day which is the biggest in the country and is equipped with brand new beds, delivery Equipment, medications, new toilets, tap water and other amenities.

The governor also inspected the 7 billion Naira state of the art diagnostic center being constructed by Alhaji Aliko Dangote, which will be the 1st of its kind in Northern Nigeria that will be equipped with modern technology Equipment.

Dangote is also building a new blood bank, renovating road networks in the hospital, has also renovated wards and other places within the hospital in partnership with the State government.
