The Jigawa State Governor Alhaji Muhammad Badaru Abubakar has sworn in Lawan Audu Babura as chairman of Jigawa State Civil Service Commission.
Before his appointment, he was a former Secretary To State Government as well as a onetime acting governor.
Other Members of the commission sworn in include Alhaji Muhammad Tukur Fagam, Muhammad Bari Birniwa, Alhaji Babandi Sale Gumel who will serve as part-time commissioners of the commission.
In his speech, Governor Badaru said their appointment as members of the commission was based on merit and credibility as well as the capability to do the work.
Alhaji Babura promised to work hard and move the Jigawa civil service forward as well as enhance it efficiently and effectively for the betterment of the Civil Servants in the State.
He promised the entrenchment of Justice and fairness to all civil servants in the State.
