Honorable Muhammad Baba Ibaku, The chairman House committee on Information to the Nasarawa state House of Assembly  has vow to ensure that Honorable Yakubu Abdul-Hamid Kwarra, The Senior Special Adviser to Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura on public affairs is convict over criminalities he committed in the past.
He said Kwarra lacks the shock observer to dare the Nasarawa state House of Assembly over the continuing stalemate between the executive and the legislative arm of Government in the state.
Baba Ibaku gave the hint at a press briefing at the Assembly today, while reacting to the series of press conferences organized by the SSA to Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura calling them names, Hon.Ibaku described Kwarra and his employee as    thieves.
“Hon.Kwarra was a member of the state Assembly for two consecutive times before he met his waterloo when it was confirmed that he forged his law certificate from University of Jos, He was booted out of the House by his political rival who uncovered his certificate mess “.
He further affirmed that stern measure will be taken by the Assembly over the case of the SSA to the Governor, which he termed the Governor and Honorable Kwarra as birds of same feather, He promised that no stone will be left unturned to unveil the hiding crimes of Hon Yakubu Kwarra.
“after we finished with the Governor we will condescend on Kwarra, A man that supposed to be healing his feet under the custody of the anti-graft agencies is walking on the street of Lafia and Wamba as a free man, The only save place for Kwarra is for him to go on exile if not we will make sure he did not leave a free man in Nasarawa state.
“This same man called Kwarra was the person that organized a seminar for Nasarawa State legislators in Benue state, part of what he thought us was on how to impeach the Governor. And that was what we are doing”. He maintain.
Speaking on the lingering impeachment of Governor Al-Makura, The House committee chairman on information revealed that the issue of impeachment still remain fresh in the mind of the mind of the lawmakers’’.
Nothing can change us or move us away from the impeachment plot as I’m talking to you is just one month and the interval for the process is three months.
He also debunked the widely spread grapevine that the chief executive lured them with money to compromise the impeachment process, According to the chairman, “nobody lure us with money because we are already in money to forget our responsibility.
Honorable Baba Ibaku condemn the rumor making that the presidency is solidly behind the impeachment saga in the state, He however said the twenty members of the Assembly are united and strong as nobody will penetrate them or divide them.
“ We have all it takes to impeachment the Governor without any support from any quarter, commenting on the suspension of pro-Governor Al-Makura lawmaker, Honorable Tanko Tunga representing Awe North.
It could be recalled that for the third time since the inception of the democracy in 1999 three members of the Assembly were involved in certificate forgery, Yakubu Kwarra was booted out of the Assembly by his arch-rival Barrister Innocent Lagi, The current Attorney General and commissioner of Justice.
Lagi who contested and lost under the banner of the Labour Party petitioned  Hon.Kwarra for forging a degree certificate from University ,This pave way to the exit of the majority leader of the Assembly.
The second fireworks also was the disappearance of Hon.Patrick Ebenya representing LokoUdege who was sworn –in but vanished into thin air after months in the state Assembly.


Again the third member who was in the middle of crisis of certificate forgery was Hon.Peter Mbucho representing Akwanga North in the Assembly, Mbucho’s next point of called is a court of law.
