Former Senate President Iyorchia Ayu Reconciles Aggrieved Plateau PDP Members Ahead Atiku’s Presidential Campaign

A three Man Committee were in Jos the Plateau State Capital ahead of Presidential Campaign of Atiku Abubakar to the state to reconcile all the aggrieved Plateau PDP members.

The former Senate President Iyorchia Ayu, former Governor of Niger state ,Dr. Babangida Aliyu and former Governor of Kogi state ,Capt Idris Wada, lead a delegation of the National leadership of the party to fine-tune ways of ending the internal crises rocking the Plateau state chapter after the primaries election.

The following were present which, former Governor, Sen Jonah David Jang, Ambassador Fidelis Tapgun, Comrade Kemi Nshe, Samuel Nanchang, George Daika, Hon Johnbull Shakarau and others PDP faithful.

Dr. Iyorchia Ayu has led a delegation of the National Headquarters of the People Democratic Party, PDP to Plateau to reconcile aggrieved Plateau PDP members.

The committee held a closed door meeting at the party secretariat on Friday to reconcile those who contested under the platform of PDP and lost during the primaries.

He said they national leadership asked them to come to Plateau state chapter and look into the problem to access the situation and find solution to it.

According to him ,the delegation were warning welcome to Jos by the state chairman Hon Damishi Sango ,Ex-governor Jang ,the former senate Deputy President ,Sen Ibrahim Mantu ,Ambassador Fidelis Tapgun ,and Governorship candidate of the party ,Sen Jeremiah Timbut Useni .

Ayu explained further that everyone spoke their mind on their readiness to work for the victory of the party, he said; “so we all agreed to put aside our differences to work together under the able leadership of Damishi Sango.

He disclosed that all those aggrieved PDP members have accepted to work toward deepening the PDP family and tenets of democracy across the 17 local government areas to make sure PDP win the state.

Ayu said they have agreed to mobilize supporters tomorrow Saturday to welcome their presidential candidate Alhaji  Atiku Abubakar to ensure PDP win the governorship, senators and House of Assembly and Reps seat in the forthcoming general election .

He noted the overwhelming support given the party during the Flagg off campaign at Mangu is a clear demonstration that the party speak with one voice now.

Ayu added the PDP promised an all-inclusive government and is embarking on building confidence and understanding.

Former Governor of Niger state Dr. Babangida Aliyu expressed confidence that the party is prepared to clinch the 2019 general election.
