Former Jigawa state Governor Sule Lamido, has received encomium for his vision toward helping humanity by commending him for his firmness in the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), just as he was called upon to vie for the Presidency in 2019.
National Coordinator, People’s Democratic Party, National Youth Empowerment Strategy (PDP-NYES), Hon. Kabiru Sani Garkuwa, made the statement in Jos, when Lamido, paid a condolence visit to the family of late Sheikh Alhassan Saeed.
“Lamido’s political anticident, which transverse through his quality and exemplary leadership, when as minister foreign affairs, 8 years as Governor of Jigawa state are some among many reasons, why Nigerians should vote for him to serve as President in 2019,” Garkuwa said.
Garkuwa, who is also the zonal coordinator Siyasa Akida network Nigeria, for Lamido 2019, said Lamido’s concerned for Nigerians, irrespective of tribe, region or religious believes, is what makes him pay condolence visits to families, that loses their dear ones across Nigeria.
“Nigerian youths will have good fortunes ahead of their future, fully secured under Lamido, if elected as President,” he said.
Similarly, Garkuwa, hailed what he described as meaningful representation, by Hon. Istifanus Gyang, a federal lawmaker representing Barikin Ladi/Riyom Constituency in the National Assembly.
He said: “I.D. Gyang, is putting quality representation, and based on his youth and women empowerment scheme, which cut across all the people within his constituents, is a signed of good representation and in this light it is apt for him to vie for the position of a Senator to represent Plateau North Senatorial district.”
Garkuwa, said he was of the opinion that Gyang’s detribalised style of leadership, is highly commendable, urging leaders to emulate him.
