FG To Link Jigawa With Rail Line

Governor Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa state has praised the federal government for the award of a new railway line contract which will link Dutse to Kano, Kano to Kazaure, Roni Gwiwa down to Katsina state.

 

He said if the rail line is completed it will support the economic activities in the state.

 

He added that a solar new station would be established at Gwaram, Birnin kudu with a view to empower business activities in the area

 

He also said that 922 new businesses have been created in the state for the benefit of people in the state, as he hinted that the state has been receiving support from the federal government of eight billion Naira monthly as part of Paris club refund for the past 18 months.

Badaru stated that Jigawa state has received N46 billion naira as Paris club support with a view to ameliorating the economic hardship to states.

 

Badaru said all the projects he executed, did was with the support of the federal government without that support the story would have been different.

 

Osinbajo congratulates Badaru for the project development he declared Jigawa state as the number three state of the federation in attracting business in the country.

 

He said FG will continue supporting the state for business activities as he prayed for peace and prosperity for the state.
