FG Provides Water Facilities To Displaced Communities In Jigawa

The Jigawa State Governor Badaru Abubakar has commended the federal government on the speedy construction of the road network along the Kano-Maiduguri highway, the work was abandoned for last 12 years.

Badaru stated this while receiving the Minister Of Water Alhaji Suleiman Adamu at government last week, adding that as Buhari received the mantle of leadership in the country everything changed, he also lamented that in the last 20 years the federal government awarded electricity contract in Gagarawa which also was abandoned until his tenure now where the project began again and that is about to be completed.

The governor said the Kazaure Water Project cost over N3 billion, adding that the federal government has done well at various levels.

The governor accused the past administration of not doing anything for the people of Jigawa State.

While responding, the Minister of Water Engr. Suleman Adamu Kazaure accused the hoodlums and some irate youths who highjack the ENDSARS as enemies of this country who all want to destabilize the nation.

Adamu who spoke to journalists at Government House in Dutse said their aim is to destroy the economy and also to destroy the country’s unity.
