Nullifying the elections, Justice Lambo Akanbi declared that the election that brought them in were held despite a valid court order restraining RSIEC from conducting same.
With the elections nullified, all local government council chairmen and councilors elected on the illegal premise have been sacked.
Earlier, attempts by the supporters of the sacked councils to intimidate the judge through explosives failed as Police and security agencies brought the matter under control.
There was an explosion outside the court premises, but an improvised explosive device planted within the court premises was detonated before it could cause damage.
