The Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF) is extending an invitation to all well-meaning Nigerians to take part in the Federal Civil Service Logo Redesign competition in accordance with the government’s transparency initiative and the ongoing reforms the Office is piloting, which are summarized in the Federal Civil Service Strategy and Implementation Plan 2021-2025 (FCSSIP25).
According to the OHCSF, all talented Nigerians are welcome to enter the logo redesign competition, according to Mrs. Didi Esther Walson-Jack, OON, mni, Head of the Federation’s Civil Service. She encouraged competitors to apply their extensive experience, which reflects innovation, creativity, and technology, to the challenge.
In a statement signed by Mrs. Eno Olotu the Director, Information and Public Relations, she said ‘ ” “participants are urged to note that the design must be submitted in both colour and black-and-white versions, using a high-resolution PNG format (minimum of 2,400 DPI and not more than 20MB). In addition, each entry must include a brief description (100-150 words), explaining the concept behind the design, the inspiration, and the elements used in alignment with the civil service’s mission, vision, and core values.
OHCSF also stated that all eligible entries must be submitted by midnight on Friday, February 28, 2025. Late contributions won’t be taken into account. A certificate of participation recognition and a monetary incentive will be given to the top three entries.
The current logo and the detailed guidelines for this competition for a new design can be accessed on the official website of the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (www.ohcsf.gov.ng).
