As the country in the 2021 wet season, The executive chairman of the Doma Local Government Council, Honorable Rabo Sani in a concerted effort to curb the annual farmers/herders clashes is to host an expanded security meeting.
Rabo Sani in an Odu festival message to the people of Doma said the meeting was meant to reshape the thinking of farmers/herders and the need for peaceful co-existence.
He said the expanded security meeting would comprise of other ethnic groups, mostly peasant farmers in Doma and Ekye Development Area.
The executive chairman attributed the bumper harvest experienced last year to the relative peace that exists throughout Doma and its border communities.
Rabo Sani warned on people hiding under the guise of the rainy season to wreak havoc on valuables like farm produce to repent or face the full wrath of the law.
He further warned cattle rustlers to take the part of honor or risk arrest by security operatives.
