Facilitators, Mrs Rehab, Dauda And Traditional Rule Harps On Healthy Communication In Harnessing Peace

The Facilitator of Afripeace, Mrs Rehab  Yachat  Kwaja  and Dauda  Busabuji have presented separate  papers on the dynamics of conflict with the need to maintain absolute obedience towards resolving healthy competition for development in community.

Rehab Kwaja says, the research policy and programme is providing mitigation in resolving conflict toward sustainable peace and governance that can encourage development.

She maintained that commitment to teamwork, nonpartisanship and accountability from the affected participants would promote healthy competition by ensuring that the people imbibe the culture of tolerance in their daily conduct.

Meanwhile, the Traditional ruler and the First Class Chief of Ganawuri HRH, Yakubu Chaimang lauded the Afripeace for encouraging the people to promote peace and unity through the deliberate program.

He said, as a traditional father, he has continued with youth engagement challenging the youth to shun social verses and preach peaceful coexistence in Riyom LGA and it’s environs.

We challenge everybody you  to partner with the appropriate authority in  promoting  peace and building blocks of redeeming Nigeria .

However, in his presentation, Mr Dauda Busabuji also frowned at those who are sponsoring crises in society.

 He tasked government to always take decisive steps towards handling business entrepreneurs in conflict, we must agree to disagree with each other in love. 

According to him, there are many Nigerian who are benefiting  directly from conflict and without the conflict their sources of income is dry  but we see where they promote it.

Besides, each of the local governments presented identified areas of conflict with Mwagavul/Fulani showcase their challenges of language barrier, and illegal connection, Bokkos on land dispute between two ethnic group of Ron and igbo which also harp communication differences.

Dauda described conflict as ways and manner two or more are involved which might lead to shedding of human blood, adding constructive crises would create healthy competition that can attract development.

He emphasized that it is the ability to convert one another to promote understanding and analyzing so need to map out area of conflict.

Ardo Ado Bala Abubakar emphasized that there is need to promote peace communication in harnessing our individual potential in society.

He pointed out that conflict is gradually reducing in Bassa LGA and crime has started reducing so we should thank Hon Joshua Sunday Rivi for his visionary leadership in encouraging love and peace.

Abubakar charged Nigerian to return to promoting peace and unity in the society rather than branding religion and politics of blackmail.
