The embattled Labour Party Governorship aspirant for Plateau State ,Amb. Yohanna Yilpwan Margif has explained in a clear voice why he has vehemently refused to relinquish his anointed Labour Party ,LP, a ticket to Dr. Patrick Dakum despite the numerous threat and intimidation faced by the security personnel in the country.
Margif stated this in a press statement contained in his private chat to our correspondence in Jos on Wednesday.
According to him, no amount of pressure, intimidation, threat to his life, and all manner of conspiracies can change my hope because I care for the people of Plateau.
Speaking further, he said I am a self-sufficient businessman and an independent leader desiring to serve the good people of Plateau state in any capacity no matter the level of challenges from desperate politicians to cajole me to relinquish my stand.
He maintained, “No pressure, no evil plans can make me lose my integrity to the extent of allowing illegality to exist over a ticket given to me by our Heavenly Father to rebuild plateau state”.
Amb. Margif noted that his own life as an individual is worth nothing to me to change God’s plan to rescue the people of Plateau state from bad leadership and political vultures.
He pointed out, “I have a task to rebuild and heal the wounds inflicted on the minds of plateau people through an inclusive government where the children of everybody, both the poor will participate in building the state”.
Margif disclosed that for God to call him to lead the Plateau people he has been preparing himself for the task of leadership and some group of politicians is working towards destroying him through character assassination.
