Exposed: How Dariye Allegedly Masterminded The Plot To Replace Amb Margif With Dr Patrick Dakum, Alleges Margif Support Group

The Amb. Yohanna Margif political supporters’ group has accused Sen Joshua Dariye of illegally masterminding the travails and forcefully attempting to replace the Labour Party gubernatorial Candidate with Dr Patrick Dakum.

Spokesman of Amb Yohana MARGIF, Alh Musa Isiaka, made the accusation fingering  Sen Joshua Dariye of masterminding the forceful attempts to replace his principal as the Labour Party Gubernatorial candidate in Plateau State.

He described the moves by Sen Dariye and his cohorts to use the erstwhile ancient method of substitution of party candidates for election as dead on arrival; and a gross contravention of the existing provisions of the 2022 Electoral Act.

All the travails and inhuman treatment meted on Amb MARGIF, using perceived occupational trade disputes/grievances of business associates, were orchestrated, hatched and executed from the table of Sen Dariye including the recent police arrests and unfounded allegations peddled against him and the Plateau State government aimed at whipping sentiments against Margif.

In light of the unwholesome acts of Sen Dariye regarding the governorship ticket of Labour Party in Plateau State, Amb Margif had to embark on legal remedies to safeguard his ticket against the personalities involved in the attempts for a forceful substitution episode.

It’s on record that Amb Margif faithfully and dutifully served Sen Dariye next to serving God to the near neglect of his biological parents right through to Dariye’s career and political endeavours at the BCC Gboko and as the Governor of Plateau State. Amb Margif executed several mission-sensitive errands for Dariye carrying out good, bad and ugly assignments of which Amb Margif has received forgiveness from God and doesn’t intend to be reminded of those hatchet jobs.

Sometimes in July 2022, Sen Dariye invited Amb Margif to a meeting and in very clear and terse language instructed him to relinquish his LP gubernatorial ticket and stay away from such an ambition. Amb Margif was stunned and dumbfounded but assured Sen Dariye that he wasn’t disposed to honouring his command.

Thereafter in the course of the same week, Dr Patrick Dakum called and visited Amb Margif a few days after the meeting with Sen Dariye to ask for a handover of the LP governorship ticket to him, describing himself as the Messiah and one who is responsible for writing daily prayers for COCIN church; Amb Margif vehemently declined the overtures of Dr Dakum and left.

Curiously, in about two weeks from the successive meetings with Sen Dariye and Dr Dakum, heavily armed policemen from Jos arrested Amb Margif in Abuja in the night of 4th August 2022 and kept him in their custody till 6th August 2022 on charges of a 2008 business transaction with an associate. During the incarceration of Amb Margif in police custody in Jos, it was learnt that on 5th August 2022, at Ken Palace Hotel owned by Sen Dariye, LP organised another primary election in Jos in which a certain Dr Patrick Dakum, to  whom Amb Margif had already declined his demand for the governorship ticket a fortnight earlier, was endorsed as a replacement for the LP governorship candidate of Plateau State.

Providentially, Amb Margif chose to embark on lawful legal remedies to safeguard his LP governorship ticket. In spite of the resort to lawlessness, and inhuman maltreatment by Sen Dariye and his cohorts, they have continued using security agencies and other available means against Amb Margif as well as his workmen. One of his workmen was arrested on Friday, 23rd September 2022 in a brazen attempt to get at Amb Margif.

I wish to assure the friends of Amb Margif as well as the teeming supporters and members of LP across Plateau State that it’s well and the Lord Is good; Amb Margif remains strong, agile and highly positive in securing the governorship ticket of the LP in his hand in service to God and mankind.
