Executive Secretary Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board,Daiyabu Dauda Urges Intending Hajj Members To Pray For Governor Mutfwang , Plateau State

Three Plateau Senatorial Districts of Plateau State have received adequate orientation on the activities of hajj performance in Saudi Arabia by  Executive Secretary Plateau State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board (PSMPWB) Hon. Daiyabu Dauda who assured them of hitch free exercise with accommodation  for the 2025  intending pilgrims      .          

Daiyabu made this known during a ground breaking event for four days awareness campaign training for the intending Pilgrims in Jos at the headquarters of board on Thursday.

He stressed that the scheduled  arranged fly ticket for the 13th /14th Tuesday and Wednesday to airlift first and second batch of intending hajj to holy land from Bauchi state venue for 2025 .

Daiyabu Dauda appealed on those who missed the exercise to kindling accept it as an act of God ,we will promote and encourage the orientation across length and breadth of Plateau state by calling on the general public to pay attention ahead of 2026 .

He charged participants to imbibe the spirit of listening to the orientation given them on the activities of Saudi Arabia people

Dauda reiterated that the number of this year intending pilgrims might be reduce due to  confirmed list of  the number of seats allocated to Plateau  so the government would consider the hike in the price of the Hajj airlift .

He lamented that ,”We cannot meet up honestly I don’t think any state in Nigeria can meet up with their allocated seats apart from the current challenges not from the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) nor the state government but from the Saudi authority,based on that he  sure of drastic deduction best on the accommodation problems where NAHCON has to source for funding to acquire 52 thousand accommodation in Masharih .

“Without the pilgrims  securing comfortable accommodation it won’t work  ,the whole Nigeria we had at least no fewer than  72 thousand places but we had to scale it down to 52 thousand for the Nigerian intending pilgrim’s now ,”he stated.

According to him, Plateau State contingent  we had  1724 seats but we have tried even though we didn’t meet up with that number so far we have about 968  seats paid am not sure of the exact number.

 Daiyabu Dauda warned all  the 2025 intending pilgrims that adequate measures we have put in place to deal decisive with those that are planning to take drugs through  sensitization .

Adding ,we are engaging them on how dangerous it is to carry prohibited items to the holy Land and we are warning  pilgrims not to accept anything from those that are   carrying luggage across the screening centre we tell them not to trust anyone .

Hon . Daiyabu Dauda admonished all  the intending pilgrims that  whoever is caught with anything contraband the management of the board will not be involved in that he or she will be on their own.

He stressed that this time around every pilgrim will sign an undertaking  during screening advising that they have invited the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA),Customs, Immigration, National Orientation Agency(NOA)to give more awareness campaign on how the conduct themselves in the holy land.

In his good message , Daiyabu Dauda advised them to be law abiding and be obedient to protect the image of the state and country in general.

He  appreciated the Governor Caleb Mutfwang administration  for his emerse contribution to the 2024  Hajj operations .

We want to sincerely thank H.E Barrister Caleb Mannaseh Muttwang the.executive governor and pray for his guidance and protection and for his good health that is my message to the state in general.

If it’s the one for personal use like 5 or 6 pieces nobody will question you but if you carry more than that you will be asked questions.

Finally what is your call to the intending pilgrims and then to the Plateau State Government.

First and foremost let me start with the big cat the Plateau State Governor Barrister Caleb Mannaseh Muttwang has done a lot for our Muslim Ummah and we appreciate him.

When we came back from Hajj last year Governor Caleb Mannaseh Muttwang was given an award.

Many state governors attended Hajj theyv didn’t but the way we presented ourselves was remarkable

Last year he received the  best Governor and this year I believe he will even get more awards.

To the intending pilgrims the message is to prepare yourself if you are not sure ask the Ulamas for guidance.
