Exclusive: Gov Akpabio Builds Multi Million Naira Residence While Wife Builds Multi Million Naira School By Fejiro Oliver
There is serious work currently going on in a place called Shelter Afrique to complete a mind blowing mansion worth over N500 million for Gov Godswill Akpabio of Akwa Ibom State. The mansion which is being constructed by a company owned by an Edo man is going to be the best in the area when completed
Though the company has been charged to make it a top secret, I authoritatively learnt that directive is to deliver the job before the end of 2014. While the state residents groan in pain on how their commonwealth is being squandered by Akpabio and his cronies, he has also erected an estate in Shelter Afrique alongside his wife. A source from government house who confided in me stated that the house is being built with imported materials while the foundation is all stone base.
The wife, Unoma Akpabio I can confidently report has also completed a Nursery and Primary School in Ewet Housing while the Secondary School arm is currently getting finishing touches in Shelter Afrique. As I post, all that remains is the construction on the road to the secondary school which is currently ongoing. According to my informant, the school is worth another N500 million with swimming pools in them.
The company staff however refused to speak to me and attempts to take pictures were denied me, though plans are on to snap them by whatever means.
