Ex House Of Representatives, Hon.Mohammed Ogoshi Onawo Organizes ICT Training For 150 Secondary School Teachers

The immediate past member of the Federal House of Representatives representing Awe,Doma, Keana Federal Constituency, Hon.Mohammed Ogoshi Onawo has organized a 5 day  Information Communication Technology training workshop for 150 Secondary School Teachers in Dr.Isa Mustapha Agwai Polytechnic, Lafia.

 

The  five days training workshop which started by 10th to 15th of June has in attendance Professional teachers cut across Awe,Doma, Keana respectively was in partnership between the former Member, Ogoshi Onawo and the Federal Ministry of Communication Technology Leveraging ICT For National Development.

 

Mr.Yakubu Adelakun, the representative of E-Concept Technology Limited averred that the objective of the the training was to empowered teachers on the application of data management in line with contemporary best practices.

 

Adelakun maintained that the effort was to ensure that teachers improved in the cause of impacting knowledge on the lives of Secondary School Teachers.

 

He commended the participants for conducting themselves and sue for maximum and continued cooperation in other subsequent training exercise.

 

A female participant, Olotu Esther Clatus in an interview averred that she had improved in the area of Microsoft word with a promise to impact the same knowledge on her students.

 

Abdul Musa Babanmu who represented Hon.Onawo in a vote of thanks appreciate the lauded commitment of the Federal Ministry of Communication and Technology for availing Secondary School Teachers with ICT Training.

 

Babanmu applauded the facilitators for the tremendous job as well the participants urging them to extend the gesture to their students.

 

Bashir Umar,a male participant buttressed that he learnt a lot on how to operate a computer and also on Microsoft word and Excel, adding that the training has help him to get additional skill

 

Rabiu Kasimu also maintained that he learnt the art of manipulating Microsoft word and Excel.

 

He Further appreciate the effort of Hon. Mohammed Ogoshi Onawo for exposing Secondary School Teachers in Awe,Doma,Keana Federal Constituency to ICT.
