Ex Commissioner Wazhi Under Dariye Murdered, Management Committee Chairman Of Langtang South Kidnapped

The former Commissioner of Agriculture to Sen Joshua Dariye, Hon Sargwak Wazhi has been brutality murdered while the management committee Chairman of Lantang South has been kidnapped by suspected gunmen from Shendam Local Government Area to Jos road on Thursday afternoon.

The Honourable ,Sargwak Wazhi who recently decamped to the All progressive Congress’s (APC) travelled to attend peace meeting organized on  the instance of Governor Simon Lalong to bring about peaceful coexistence to the people of Plateau southern senatorial zone

Our reports gathered that after the successfully meeting which lasted several hours ,the former commissioner the management committee Chairman of Langtang South were on their way back when some men blocked the highway and started shooting at them.

According to an eyewitness, the gunmen were well armed with dangerous weapons when the commissioner who was driving the car wanted to take a u-turn to run but they were fast enough to kill him instantly, while the management committee was taken away.

The eyewitness disclosed that the chairman was taken away after a hot chase by the group who captured him and left his driver with various degrees of gunshots.

However, the corpse has been deposited in a Morgue in Mangu local government area, as the Plateau state Police command confirmed the incident but promised to furnish with more details .
