Eleven Junior Nomadic Schools To Be Established In Jigawa

More Fulani communities in Jigawa state are now seeking the Jigawa state government to establish more nomadic schools in the state.

 

This was disclosed by the acting Executive Secretary Nomadic Education Hajia Ramatu Muhammed in an interview at her office.

 

Ramatu said the state has only 382 nomadic schools while there are 747 teachers which she said are not enough for the schools.

 

Hajia Ramatu added that due to lack of teachers all mobile teachers have been withdrawn and taken to schools.

 

He added that arrangement is already made to assist Fulani pupil with school uniforms, bags, and shoes so as to encourage them.

 

She assured that boarding junior secondary schools would be established in the state with the intention to assist the Fulani families so that their children will attend secondary schools within their localities.

 

Hajia Ramatu said the junior secondary schools will be constructed in eleven areas which include indawa village of Kafin Hausa, Burji in Miga Local Government, Muni Village of Babura, and Dogonjeji 0f Dutse Local Government.

 

Others are Gidan Makama of Gwaram Local Government, Gidan Dutsi of Gagarawa Local Government, Rubba Village of Kirikasamma, and Badore 0f Kazaure Local Government Areas.

 

Others also include kwarsawa village of Birnin Kudu and Daruna village of Gwiwa local government area in the state.
