An All Progressive Congress stalwart, in Langtang North Local Government Area of Plateau State Hon Dingfa Ezekiel has said, the Tarok Choice of Lt. General, Jeremiah Timbut Useni as their consensus aspirant is the wrong decision of the Elders’ forum which is capable of weakening the chance of Tarok in PDP.
Ezekiel expressed his heart desire while speaking with to correspondent on Tuesday at the APC secretariat after obtaining a nomination form to vie for the State House of Assembly.
He said if the decision of the Elders forum is anything to go by then the incumbent Governor Simon Lalong will go to sleep and expect landslide victory after the polls which is scheduled for next year.
Ezekiel Dingfa lamented that the General should have shown respect to the Tarok nation by anointing credible sons or daughters of the Tarok extraction to be the sold aspirant even before he or she indicated interest to obtain nomination form but what they are doing now is too late.
According to him , General Useni was a one-time Governor of Bendel state and FCT minister when most of these aspirants were still in secondary schools but now that he refused to step down for them poses a serious threat to the political relationship between the Tarok and others ethnic tribes.
