Ekiti Lawmakers Told To Vacate Offices

Ekiti State House of Assembly has directed all members of the outgoing Fourth Assembly to remove their personal belongings from their offices in preparation for the inauguration of the Fifth Assembly.

A statement issued in Ado-Ekiti by the clerk of the Assembly, Mr Tola Esan, called on the Legislative aides of the lawmakers to ensure strict compliance with the directive before May 29th, 2015.

The statement said the directive was to make provision for the renovation of the complex ahead of the incoming lawmakers in line with world best practice and re-allocation of offices as well as seats to them.

The House Management thanked all the outgoing Honourable members for their rewarding service to the state and promised that their contributions would be remembered while the management would continue to draw from their wealth of experience in the years ahead
