Governor of Edo State, Mr. Godwin Obaseki has wished all Muslims brothers and sisters in Nigeria and particularly Edo State a happy Eid-El-Maulud celebrations.
Obaseki, in a terse statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. John Mayaki said “I wish all our Muslims brothers and sisters a happy Eid-El-Maulud and I thank the Muslim community in Edo State for their support and commitment towards a better Edo” he said.
The governor urges all Muslims to use the period to pray for the nation’s peace and prosperity – embracing love, sacrifice, tolerance and peaceful coexistence in Edo and Nigeria at large.
“As you celebrate this occasion, I wish all a joyous Eid-el-Maulud.”
