Eid-Al-Fitr Celebration: Hon Jonathan  Dabo Felicitates With All  Muslims Across The World  Urge Them To  Reflect On  Spiritual Teaching  Of  Prophet Mohammed

Hon Jonathan Dabo has congratulated  Muslim ummah world over and in Nigeria for the successful completion of the Ramadan fasting and to wish them a successful  Eid-al-Fitr celebration.

 

As you all completed one of the five pillars of Islam through fasting, we pray reward in the Holy Month of Ramadan having fulfilled the command require of a genus Muslim.

 

 

He, however, said the significance of the celebration is not limited to having complete the circle of our obligation in the Holy Month of Ramadan.

 

According to him, the exercise calls for the total reminder of ourselves to remain steadfast in pursuit to attain piety and Allah spiritual rejuvenation and favour .

 

Jonathan Dabo advised Nigerian Muslims that this year’s Eid-al-Fitr is coming at a time when Nigeria is undergoing security challenges where lives and properties of citizens are affected with a large number of people are struggling to survive the scourge of poverty and covid-19 pandemic.

 

 

Dabo tasked Muslims Ummah to eschew violence and ensure that there is a peaceful celebration across the state and its environs by ensuring peace and unity within our family and in our neighborhood at all times.

 

He appealed to Muslims that today, across Nigeria, where there is a scary and growing tension, mistrust amongst  ethnic and religious lines ,I urge you to emulate practice and teaching of prophet Muhammad during this period .

Jonathan Dabo says, “Holy Quran and the Sunnah of Noble Prophet Muhammed (SAW)  peace be on to him advice that no tribe or race is superior to another, except the one that seeks piety to the Almighty Allah”.

 

He reiterated that Muslims do not attain piety through hate or bloodletting, they attain piety through forbearance and by sharing love to non-Muslim brothers which is the message that we must give some in reflection to the youths today.

 

Hon Jonathan Dabo disclosed that on behalf of his family, he wishes all Muslims a happy Eid-al-Fitr celebration and pray that Almighty Allah accepts their sacrifices in good deeds.
