Eggon Cultural Association Harps On Unity Of Oneness Amongst Them To Promote Nigeria Unity

The Traditional Father’s of Eggon Cultural Association of Plateau State Branch ,HRH ,Chief Thomas Joseph Bezum has harped on the unity of all the middle Belt tribes in North-Central Nigeria ,as he begged President Muhammadu Buhari government to kindly stop the kidnapping business and banditry across the states .
Speaking during the 2021 Eggon Cultural Development Association ,ECDA ,Plateau State Branch held at police field on Monday in Jos North LGA
HRH ,Bezum said ,”we are begging the government to please help us stop the incessant kidnapping ,banditry going in the middle Belt were the people are denied going to farm “.
He decried that the challenges of insecurity in different parts of Nigeria especially in the middle Belt had brought food insecurity to the common man ,we are suffering too much ,we are suffering as common people .
According to him ,I was fat before but you can see me now looking slim because I hardly can get food as he called on Baba Buhari to rectify the earlier name Nigerian were calling him Baba Buhari ,what we are saying is that if Mr president provide food for the teaming Nigerian everyone would forget his sorrow and praise him .
He disclosed that ,” I never see this type of government in my life since I’m now clocking 77 years of aged ,we saw how people are been massacre ,maimed innocent Nigerian in the night so what is happening now the present regime should be blame for dastardly attack and killing “.
We can’t eat three square square meal again under the regime of President Muhammadu Buhari ,when he won all Nigerian were celebrating that live would be better but we see the worst regime on anarchy under the watch of the APC .
HRH Thomas explained further that he won’t want to talk about the issue of the middle Belt tribes but emphasized more on the challenges that we born children instance of speaking their language to them we speak Hausa to them .
He said every households is guilty of the their children abandoning their own tribe to be speaking another mother tongue so I grew up with my parents teaching me how to speak my tribe but we have failed woefully to transmit our own culture and traditional .
The Chairman of the ECDA ,CSP Magaji John Ibrahim promised to revamped the Eggon cultural dance and activities on the Plateau which has not been done since over 26 years ago with the success we promise to sustain and maintain and improve on it year in year out .
He vows to unite all the middle Belt tribes towards promoting social cohesion and ensure we achieve total peace .
The Chairman of the occasion ,Dr Dankadarko Alaku said for a very long time over 30 years our culture have been eroded by differences in clients and religious in Eggon land so the culture became abandon .
Alaku said is now we started revamping the culture for upcoming generation to identify with their ancestral belief and costume .
We have agree that every year from now henceforth we would hosting the festivity every after new year celebration .
He charged the government to support the cultivated activities in Nigeria to help promote the unity of all a sundry .
