Edo Condoles With Late Alex Gabriel’s Family

 

Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki yesterday extended his heartfelt condolences to the family of late Mr. Alex Gabriel, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Raycon and Company Nigeria Ltd.

Governor Obaseki, in a condolence message by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. John Mayaki, extolled the exemplary leadership qualities of the late business icon.

The governor, who recalled the late Mr. Gabriel contributions to the Nigeria’s business environment, noted that his sterling leadership style, was instrumental to the remarkable achievements of Raycon & Co Nigerian Ltd.

Obaseki said, “I believe that late Alex Gabriel will be long remembered for his exemplary role and dedication to improving Raycon & Co to become a foremost Construction Company that delivers good value for money – constructing standard and dual carriage roads, underground drainage and building of bridges and gas plants among others.

“No doubt, he was one of the greatest his generation has ever seen – he was a wonderful human being who inspired love among far more people than just those he knew personally.

“We are therefore, left with admiration for the obvious successes he achieved while on earth – as he not only brought untold riches to his employees and investors.

“He had an intuitive knowledge of what clients would love and relentlessly pursued projects to perfection. He never suffered fools gladly in his pursuit of excellence – you either produce or he lost interest in you – single minded pursuit of excellence”.

Governor Obaseki, who expressed the hope that the Late Mr. Gabriel’s family and all those who mourn him will continue to uphold his legacy of hard work, commitment and professionalism said, “my condolence to his friends and especially his family.

“For no matter how we lionize him here, the loss of a loved one, regardless of prominence, leaves an emptiness in the heart that can never be filled”.
