Dr Steve Bilshakka Set To Declare Intention For Governorship Seat On 9th March

An Aspirant for the 2023 Gubernatorial seat, Surveyor Dr Fitka Steve Bilshakka has disclosed that he would formally declare his intention to aspire for the Plateau State seat on the 9th March, 2022 at Rwang Pam Stadium to ensure the state achieves meaningful development if given the mandate.

Addressing the delegates at the APC Secretariat on Thursday,Dr. Bilshakka emphasized that his political ideology is not to move with the crowd but to develop a blueprint that would acceptable to all Plateau people .

He said, his aspiration is a  ‘divine mandate movement’ while declaring his intention to aspire for the seat of governorship under the platform of APC,  Surv Steve Bilshakka said, he has the three qualities which are capacity, experiences, and popularity, that make him stand out amongst the other aspirants.

He said he is aware of the fact that the role of the governance requires someone with credentials that can consolidate on Governor Simon Bako Lalong achievements to reposition the security of the state.

Dr Steve Bilshakka harped more on promoting peaceful coexistence and youth empowerment of women and youths to make the state commercial hubs of the middle belt if given the mandate to actualize this wonderful dream.

He also noted that if elected, he will work assiduously to make sure that he restores back then ,”home of peace and tourism “and strengthens the traditional institution and community participation in security watch dog .

The Chairman of the All Progressive Congress APC Plateau state, Hon. Rufus Bature commended the aspirants, and said his sacrifices and contribution to the APC are well noted and appreciated.

He welcomes Dr Fitka Steve Bilshakka who is the first aspirant for him to congratulate them and the one of them to declare intention so we sincerely appreciate him.

According to him, Plateau state would be one of the greatest beneficiaries if he is voted into power, he said the array of credible aspirants the APC is portraying has made the party stronger.

Bature explains that the state needs someone that can consolidate on the APC achievement, as he assures the aspirant of their unalloyed support as umpire of the party in the state.

Hon Bature  said the party is blessed with credible aspirants and they are providing free and fair level ground for every candidate to participate.

He debunked allegations that the timetable for the conduct of primaries is yet to come out ,urging them as politicians to always keep themselves ready whenever the sale of forms and conduct of the election is concluded.

Bature said the party is waiting for final communication at the national Secretariat because they are yet to arrive on the fees to be charged on aspirants.
