Donation of Relief Materials To IDPs: Wife Of The President Shuns Plateau, As Governor Lalong Fails To Send Representative

All may not be well between the APC led government in Plateau and the Presidency, as event of yesterday may have proved that there is gap between the two.

This was as the wife of the President of Muhammadu Buhari, Aisha Buhari yesterday shuns Governor Simon Lalong and sent a delegation to donate relief material to displaced persons in the state.

The event which took at National Management Emergency Agency (NEMA) saw the wife of the President being represented by Mrs. Pauline Tallen.

It was gathered that the Governor Simon Lalong who is currently in London was not represented to welcome the wife of the President.

However, the relief material which was only donated to a few selected individual was done under serious scrutiny by heavy presence of security personnel.

Our correspondent gathered that Mrs. Pauline Tallen has abandon Plateau State after the landslide victory to pitch tent with the wife of President Buhari as a Director came into the state in the presence of security personnel who stormed the venue in a commodore style.

Information available revealed the Governor Simon Lalong jet out of the country to receive medical attention which was not made public to the citizens.

As learnt by this medium, even though it is alleged that the governor left the shore of this country  for alleged medical attention however, sources told  revealed to this medium that the relationship existing between the Presidency and Plateau State is that of Julius Caesar and Brutus .

This clearly show confirmed the rumor going round that there is disconnect between the two arms government under the APC leadership.

It is on note that that since the existence of Plateau state no President wife has ever visited Plateau State since the return of democracy.
