The Special Adviser to Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State on Rural and Community Development, Honorable Mustapha Yahaya Idris has said the N900m Doma Modern Market which was recently flag-off by the incumbent Governor of the State was meant to spur socio-economic activities of the area.
The one time Commissioner for Rural and Community Development affirmed that the citing of the project in Doma was a clear testimony of the workaholic agenda of Governor Abdullahi Sule whose mantra was “Exceeding All Expectations” Saying Engineer Abdullahi Sule would left the State far better than he met it on May 29 2019.
Mustapha in an exclusive interview with Universal Reporters stated that other remarkable achievements of Governor Abdullahi Sule in 5 years are something to write home about.
He however reeled out other achievements including the construction of a Flyover and Underpass in Lafia, the State capital, He explained that the construction of the flyover would tackle gridlock as well reduce the rate of accidents within the metropolis, especially at road Junctions.
Projects conceived by the current Governor, according to the S A on Rural and Community Development also include scores of rural roads like the 15km Garaku-Gurku-Dari road which was commissioned recently, Others are the construction of Doma-Burum-Burum road as well as Okpatta-Agirma rural road, Idadu-Agbashi which are still ongoing.
Mustapha Yahaya Idris said the doggedness of the State Governor will significantly change the narrative as well as open a new vista for socio-economic activities to thrive”.
According to him,” “Engineer Abdullahi Sule during this Sallah homage at Gudi announced that he will embark on the construction of 3 kilometers of township asphalt roads in each of the Local Governments, this will bring the numbers of Km to 15km township roads cut across the thirteen Local Governments.
“Also the Governor was able to dualize Shendam-Akurba as well as construct Shalele road in the State capital.
He conceived the building of a “State of the art” State Secretariat in the State capital which was at 85 percent completion, He added.
“The State Governor was able to unlock the solid minerals abound in the State over the years, The S A Rural Development declared.
Honorable Mustapha Yahaya Idris buttressed that Engineer Abdullahi Sule has done a lot for the people of the State especially empowering Farmers with improved farming inputs and implements to boost food production.
