Rabiu Omaku chronicled the achievements recorded by the executive Chairman of Doma Local Government Council ,Honorable Rabo Sani, one of the project he executed  recently and was lauded for was the construction of drainage for the people of Angwan Mada, The chairman in his determination to end the trepidation faced by the people of Angwan Mada in Sabon Gari electoral ward who were battling with flood disaster for the past five years has awarded the contract for the construction of culvert and drainage meant to ease the situation.

Construction of Drainage At Angwan Mada

The construction drainage at Angwan Mada was welcome with fanfare by the residents who were submerged by flood due to lack of drainages, The preponderance of Angwan Akubi popularly known as Angwan Mada was a tales of pains and sorrow when it rains heavily.

 

To end the annual hiccups of over flooding, the residents of the area through community effort embarked on the clearing of water channel but to no avail due to the pressure of water and sands, Honorable Rabo Sani  to complement their effort in an interview with Journalists in several occasions sympathizes with the people of Angwan Mada over the situation they found themselves ravage in waterloo, The concerted effort and commitment by the executive Chairman to embarked on the construction of drainage is a clear trajectory of people oriented leader whose believe is to bring succor to the hapless.

 

The provision of drainage to the people of Angwan Mada in Dadinkowa,Sabon Gari ward of Doma Local Government is a history in the making, The Chairman has succeeded in breaking the jinx of the many years neglected project that has direct bearing on the livelihood of the people of that area as no effort was made by successive Chairmen to end the trepidation of people whose electoral value counts.

 

The drainage if completed would end the nightmare faced by the people during heavy downpour which makes life unbearable to the affected households, Cross section of beneficiaries of the project continued to shower encomium and praying fervently for the initiator of the project.

The construction of the drainage has change the narrative of the people as some of those interview on behalf of the broad-spectrum populace appreciate and passed vote of confidence on the Council Chairman, Samuel Ofo Bala and Bala Yakubu Ofo in an interview lauded the Chairman for given the people of Angwan Mada a sense of recognition and they promised to pay back what the Chairman has done to them by supporting the wining team during election.

 

Renovation of comatose abattoir

Honorable Rabo Sani reiterated his administration’s readiness to providing healthy leaving to the broad -spectrum populace through the award of contract for the renovation of the dearth slaughter house which lacks anything functional to qualify as an abattoir, The Chairman  would left an indelible marks on the sands of time, Ravi Sani because of concern to his people visited the abattoir whose roof have been removed since last year so as to effect speedy rehabilitation of the dilapidated abattoir, and to make the comatose slaughter house attractive and lively awarded contract for the total renovation and expansion of the abattoir by constructing sewage which was lacking in the obsolete abattoir.

Apart from the reconstruction of the entire vicinity, The Chairman also constructed new fence round the slaughter house, assuring Journalists of embarking on standard work that would last long ,He said the Local Government Council would not hesitate to deploy veterinary doctors and health inspectors that will monitor all activities of butchers in the slaughter house.

 

Before the swift intervention of the executive Chairman, The abattoir was at the brinks of collapsing, A visit to Doma abattoir is a complete eyesore by a visitor for the first time not until the Midas touch of Hon.Rabo Sani who injecting chunk amount of money to rebuild the slaughter house.

 

Tackling Security Challenges

 

The Chairman poised to ensure an everlasting peace in Doma the headquarter of Doma and its environs has fully taken advantage of the 123 Special Forces Army Barrack Doma to end the skirmishes between Fulani herders and farmers in the area to the barest  minimum, been the Chief security officer of the Council to curtailed the unabated Fulani, farmers clashes in Doma and its surrounding communities of Yelwa Ediya, Igbabu, Idadu, Okpatta, Rukubi, Ijiwo, Ondori, Akpanaja, Otiya, Agirma, Olegabogye, Iponu,Doka and amongst others have summoned series of security meetings including all security agencies with the sole aim  of quelling  the incessant communal and ethnic violence in Doma Local Government.

 

One of the meeting organized by the Council boss was the expanded security meeting comprises of all ethnic groups in Ekye Development Area where representatives of communities were ably represented at LGEA Primary School Idadu,a meeting that was well attended by critical stakeholders including the paramount ruler of Idadu, Engr.Mohammed Addra. A meeting that witnessed the presence of officer in-charge of Operations and Intelligence of 123 Special Forces Army Barrack, Doma Audu Musa who  use diplomacy by appealing to the warring groups on the need to leave peacefully with one another devoid of ethnic and religious differences, The meeting has impacted positively on the lives of the people.

Before the coming of the incumbent administration under the headship of Rabo Sani, farmers have abandoned their farming activities due to intermittent attacked meted on them by Fulani herders. The holistic measure taken through regular meetings have yielded better results as farmers witnessed bumper harvest in last year wet season, farmers in Doma Local Government Council constitute 60 percent of the population, Honorable Rabo Sani confirmed that his administration as a responsible leader would accord impetus to the security of lives and properties of the people.

 

The collaborative effort of the Chairman and prompt response by the army, National Task Force and other security outfits  resulted to the relative peace experienced in the neighboring communities, The Chairman was up and doing by been supportive in times of daily patrol from Doma to Alagye community extended to Amaku road in Nasarawa Local Government by security operatives, a route that was taken over by armed bandits, With the rising waves of raping of under age and minor ,the Local Government Chairman should assist in the fight against rapist in Doma community

 

Construction of 300 Meters Road Network Along Andoma Guest House

Two and half years on assumption of office,Hon.Rabo Sani embarked on the construction of 300 metres road network along Andoma Guest House road which cost the Local Government fund running into millions of naira, The Chairman in an interview attributed the delay in the execution and completion of the road network conceived by his administration to paucity of funds, giving the assurance that the road project remained one of his topmost priority.

 

Rabo Sani in spite of his challenges as the Chief security officer of the Council has written his name in the anal of history of committed Council bosses since creation of Doma Local Government and the people of Doma would not so soon forget his immense contributions.
