Doma Local Government Boss Sympathises With People Of Angwan Mada Over Flood

Honorable Rabi Sani, the executive Chairman of Doma Local Government Area of Nasarawa State has sympathized with the people of Angwan Mada in Sabo Gari electoral ward over the unabated flood that wreaked havoc to resident of the area.

 

He disclosed this during an exclusive interview with selected Journalists at his abode, h attributed the delay in the construction of Angwan Mada drainage, a project he described as dear to him due to paucity of funds.

 

He called on them to remain calm, saying his administration has taken a stringent step to end the annual waterloo experienced during wet season in the area

 

“Construction of drainage to proffer lasting solution to waterloo in Angwan Mada remained an utmost priority of my administration.

 

Rabo Sani attributed the delay in the kick-start of a 1.3km road network along millionaires quarter to lack of resource.

 

He identified haphazard deductions of 15 percent monthly  for the augmentation of pension, stating further that N19m were deducted from majority of Local Government  in addition to the 15 percent pension.

 

Speaking on the percent payment of salary to Local Government civil servants, he averred that workers were paid 75 percent of their salary.

 

He however maintained that hard moment await workers at the third tier of Government, He buttressed that the allocation of the State may drop due to the outbreak of covid-19 pandemic.
