The Nasarawa State Correspondent of Universal Reporters, Rabiu Omaku in this Special Report on the Security allowances given to Joint Security operatives in Doma Local Government under the leadership of the Outgoing Executive Chairman, Arc. Ahmed Sarki Usman has said he reaffirmed his administration’s readiness in providing security of lives and properties, especially those at the peak of insecurity.
The Chairman buttressed that the security of lives and properties cannot be compromised, Recalling that the Council Boss during one of a meetings between border communities of Benue and Nasarawa State at the Government House said farmers must go to farms.
The Chairman noted that Doma Local Government had a boundary rumpus with Keana Local Government at Kwara town making the bush and farmers vulnerable to attacks.
Arc Ahmed Sarki Usman when contacted said the document or minute of the. F and GPC meeting, He proclaimed that the Finance and General Purpose committee document was a valid.
Speaking on monthly and cumulative stipend accord to security operatives in the locality said the Local Government is up and doing Since his emergence as the Executive Chairman.
Ahmed Sarki confirmed that the Nigeria Army Force got a total of N1.250,000m monthly and N42,250,000.00 annually for thirty-five months, He said money to the time of N42,000,000,00m was allocated to the Army
Also, it was learned that the Council Boss released money to the tune of N750,000.00 monthly to DSS, with a total of N20,400,00 m for thirty-five months.
He however attested that the Nigeria Police Force got a total of N1, 000,000.00 m every month as stipend while the entire stipend gulped N35,000,000 m for thirty-five months.
The document which was made available to Universal Reporters has shown that the Nigeria Security And Civil Defense Corps got N750,000.00 monthly while cumulatively got N20, 400,000.00 m.
It was learned that the SIB realized N500,000.00 as a monthly stipend with a total of N18,000,000 per annum.
The Federal Road Safety Corps got N350,000.00 as a monthly stipend which was cumulatively N12,600,000.00m and the stipend of Immigration stood at N300,000.00 which in thirty-five months gulped N5,400,000.00
The document available to Universal Reporters has shown that Corrections are entitled to N300,000.00 and by extension is N5, 400,000 per annum.
While the Vigilante Group of Nigeria realized N200,000 monthly and N9,200,000 for thirty-five months while Hunters got a whooping N100,000.00 monthly stipend which cumulatively is N7,200,000 in their years while the allowances of the Security Adviser was N50,000.00 monthly and this raised to the tune of N2,750,000.00.
Universal Reporters can authoritatively confirm that some security operatives refused to accord time to the State Correspondent of Universal by authenticating the information.
The one-page document was dated 31, October, 2023 double signed by the Executive Chairman of Doma Local Government after a Finance and General Purpose Committee meeting and Ose Osagede as the signatory.
