Apparently worry by the persistent challenges in southern plateau ,the internally displaced people of Langtang south Local Government Area  have  sued state government to come to  their   rescue and safe   the live of women and children  with medical facilities.
The spokesman of the group ,former Chairman Ngwan I shi Otarok Langtang south and now People Democratic Party(PDP)  aspirant Hon.Joel Ishaya Lamwang has  explained that a lot  need to be done to address the problems affecting the people who were recently displaced what I’m saying now is that things need to be turn around because the plight of the people  who hailed from sabon gida Karkashi ,Gamakai Lohkang all communities in Langtang south is  begging  for government intervention..,barely three months after the recent carnage  that claim the live of 70 people with over 5,000 internally  displaced persons their  condition is  getting worst  in public primary schools.

As a grass root mobilizer under PDP we are  taken stock of problem associated with poor conditions and  outbreak of diseases and problem associated with lack of  ventilation ,congestion and perennial water problems.
He added that more earth dams and roads should be constructed to elevate their suffering ,my own     complains is for more security agencies to deploy to  help in  curtailing the   number of insurgents coming from neighbouring Taraba  ,Nasarawa state,.
He appealed to the federal government FERMA and ministry of work in the state to as a matter of urgency ensure that the deplorable state of Yelwa Mabudi road is to be addressed saying the casualties rate is pushing high as the villagers are  going back inspite of  the current challenges faced.
He  said,as a way of making life better for the youth and to combat the scourge of unemployment in the state ,government should address youth restiveness with a meaningful programme
Joel Ishaya also said, the situation regrettably brought a lot of negative vibes to the people they are  actually suffering because after the attacked their houses were completely burnt down  living them in agony some are still with relatives ,it is now that other are begging to go back .
We appeal for more support from the state government inspite of the hardship these people are faced with here their farmland are totally destroyed which is  their only source of  livelihood,Lamwang explained .
Lamwang called on  the government that the attackers cross over from neighbouring Local Government they used to have a feel day after the attack because the people found it very difficult to pursue them due to bad road linking the communities .
We are still  pleading with government to provide us with more security outfit  in the area also some spirited individual to come to the rescue because of the  gory   attacked by some  people suspected to be fulani jihadist the community are still living  in  fear some can’t go back while other are with  their relative, considering the outbreak of  cholera  in the southern zone as dry season set in perennial water issue is  stirring us right now , we are pleading with SEMA to provide relief materials, boreholes  and roads to be  constructed with big drilling machines which he promised   if elected

Arm of Hope World Outreach (AHWO), an international non-governmental organization based in Portharcourt has carried out various projects commissioned projects amounting up to about N30m in Dogon Nahawa, Plateau State to enable the people catch up with life following the unfortunate events of March 7, 2010 where over 300 indigenes of the locality, mostly women and children were masacred in an overnight attack by suspected Fulani nomads.
One of the projects which is the most recent to be executed by the NGO, Arm of Hope Grammer Secondary School which was commissioned in honour of the victims of the attack has over 60 orphans under the scholarship scheme of the NGO and is expected to last throughout their university education.
Commissioning the school, President of AHWO, Apostle Eugene Ogu said “we realized that after the mass burial, everybody left the people to fent for themselves and we decided to identify ways to turn their pains to gain and to the glory of God, we came and saw the need on ground. After condoling with them, we donated relieve materials and gave the widows of the men killed, 29 of them N150,000 each to start up businesses and granted their children scholarship to university levels. Our aim is to bring succor and hope to the people of this community. It is a painful journey for the teaming population of this place and if we don’t do it who will? And we think the time has come for we Nigerians to not just talk but to show our patriotism by swinging into action to be our brothers keepers. It doesn’t matter what trine, religion or place you belong to. We should be able to care for ourselves.”
He disclosed series of projects ran in the community and other parts of the state to include the sinking of boreholes among others.
According to him, the NGO does not have any source of income from anywhere outside of the country but generates its funds mainly from menial labour with the help of the volunteers of the NGO scattered across the country.
