Disagreement In Nasarawa Over Sharing of Palliative

Stakeholders in Nasarawa Local Government Area of Nasarawa State disagreed over sharing the formula of the Federal Government Palliative.

The Council Chairman was alleged connived with few others to sideline core beneficiaries of Federal Government succor by downsizing the items and amount which mounted to the tune of N6.7m.

Feelers said out of the amount N50,000 was expended as fare.

It was gathered that N450,000 was given by Governor Sule while 70 bags of 50 rice were allocated to the fifteen electoral wards each as against the 90 bags.

The Commissioner for Local Government, Community Development and Chieftaincy Affairs, The Council Chairman, Mohammed Otto, and fifteen elected Councilors were fingered for their involvement in the diversion.

Despite the intervention of the Paramount ruler, The stakeholders are in disarray.
