DG Strategic Communications And Press Affairs To Nasarawa Gov. Reacts Over Sule’s 13 Ministries With 15 Cabinet Members

The Director General Strategic Communications And Press Affairs to Governor Abdullahi Sule,Yakubu Lamai has unveiled that there would be no dead woods or commissioners parading portfolio without commensurate functions in the cabinet of Governor Abdullahi Alhaji.Sule.

 

He gave the indication while fielding questions by the Correspondent of universalreportersng.com at the weekend.

 

Yakubu Lamai buttressed that the yet to be sworn in cabinet members would be accorded   specific role in their various ministries for a visible results.

 

“His Excellency operates government of periodic evaluation and each commissioner would be closely be monitored to ensure optimum performance”.

 

While commenting on the number of commissioners supersedes the number existing thirteen ministries, The Director General Strategic Communications and Press Affairs said the Governor would find appropriate role for the two additional appointees.

 

“The original numbers of ministries were 18, but they have been trimmed and streamlined for efficiency and effective performance.

 

Based upon the recommendations of commission on civil service reform, Governor Abdullahi A Sule will find appropriate roles for each of the 15 cabinet members”

 

Additionally “One thing we can assure you is that in the cabinet of Engineer Abdullahi A. Sule, there will be no dead woods or commissioners parading portfolio without commensurate functions and visible results! His Excellency operates a government of “Periodic Evaluations and each commissioner will be closely monitored to ensure optimum performance.

 

The cabinet members are as follows according to their Local Governments.

There were mixed reactions over the list of the appointees especially the list of three cabinet members coming from Lafia Local Government.
