Data Processing Officers Pleads With Governor Sule To Approve Special Package

The over 200 Data Processing Officers that participated in the four days training for data processing officers cut across all the ministries in the state has awarded the state governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule with an award of excellence.

 

Adamu Kingsley Mohammed of the Nasarawa Broadcasting Service, Lafia, a participant in the four days training workshop for Data Processing Officers in the state said the resilience and doggedness of the governor to accord premise to capacity building to civil servants.

 

He said it became necessary for the state government to consider the predicament of Data Processing Officers by approving special packages as hazard allowances.

 

He said the hazard of been a data processing officers includes developing pile due to long sitting hours as well the effect of radiation from the computer.

 

He applauded the Director-General Bureau of Information Communication Technology, Shehu Ibrahim for the time and knowledge accorded them by the Bureau for Information Communication Technology.

 

 

Adamu who read the communiqué appreciated the state governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule for his foresight to organize a training workshop for civil servants in the state.

 

A participant from Nasarawa Broadcasting Service, Lafia, Amiyawa commended the frantic effort of the state governor for organizing the training exercise, giving the assurance that she will apply the knowledge in her place of work.

 

Tina Efuna from the state ministry of Information, Culture, and Tourism appreciate the organizers of the workshop, as she said her office use to take half of their work including secret work to the business center, stating that most of the printing would be taken care of within the ministry.

 

Philips Adam appreciated Governor, Abdullahi Sule and the Director-General BITC for the marvelous work to train civil servants.

 

The training workshop ended with an award of proficiency certificate to all the participants.

 

The Special Assistant to Governor Abdullahi Sule on Information Communication Technology, Haruna Sani eulogizes the participants for their patience during the four days exercise.

 

He assured civil servants in the state of another badge of ICT training for all cadres of the workforce.

 

Sani however advised the benefiting data processing officers to apply the knowledge they acquired during the exercise for the benefit of all.
