The Former Minister for Sports and Youth Development, National Coordinator Diaspora, African Democratic Congress (ADC) ,Barr. Solomon Selcap Dalung has said that the new coalition party is mobilizing Nigerians across the country to vote out political bandits, towards the emancipation of the grassroots, so that they can vote for credible leaders who can move us away from the bad governance of APC and PDP.
Speaking to the supporters of ADC in Pankshin Local Government Area of Plateau State, Dalung disclosed that even if President Tinubu appointed his son as INEC Chairman and his wife as the Chief Judge, Nigerians won’t vote for him as the next President.
He said those political thugs who are snatching ballot papers and rigged elections for politicians are worse than the bandits, kidnappers operating in the country because they have contributed to the downfall of democracy dividends.
Dalung raised alarm that the rate of poverty, insecurity, and rising cost of living under the Tinubu administration has called for urgent intervention to save the country from bad governance and underdevelopment.
He explained further that the leadership lacks focus and has nothing to offer the Nigerian masses, so we want to provide them with responsible leaders who will not take office unless the issues of insecurity are solved. We are operating under an atmosphere of terrorists and deceptive leadership.
Solomon Dalung affirmed his stand to improve the well-being of citizens who are going to come out en masse to vote for change that can better their lives, or choose to remain loyal to those who share Maggi, Rice, and #1000 for them to vote them.
He appreciated all the aspirants vying under the platform of the coalition movement for ADC that emerged as a result of repositioning the country from bad governance, because this politics must surely change; we can’t continue as business or keep blackmailing each other to secure relevance.
Dalung stated that his constant visits to drink tea with the average Nigerian were done because they had given him a job as the minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, appealing to the electorate that we cannot elect those who will abandon the electorate to their fate.
He tendered an apology to the voters for his action in 2015 when he told them to vote for APC, so now the time has come to vote them out of power and then save Nigeria from total anarchy or collapse.
Solomon Dalung accused President Tinubu and his APC government of celebrating the death of farmers and Nigerians as he imported rotten grains of maize flowing the country, resulting in many deaths, and everywhere prices of goods are still high.
According to him, the worst of this regime is that the fertilizer and insecticide are beyond the reach of farmers, as he calls on youth to make adequate use of their PVCs in the 2027 general election to vote out bad leaders.
He lamented that the leaders were siphoning the taxpayers’ money for their overseas trip, abandoning farmers to be killed by bandits, and displacing them from their homes. We can’t live to witness the massacre of people without doing anything.
