CYIP Commends Sen.Gyang , General Abdulsalami For Facilitating The Return Of IDPs In Jong Community

At least no fewer than 70 households have been returned back to their ancestral homes of the Jong community of Barkin Ladi Local Government Council in Plateau State displaced in the 2009 crises between the natives and Fulani marauders.
The Chairman of Christian Youth in Politics Sam Chris commended Plateau Northern Senator ,Sen.I.D. Gyang for felicitating the return of the IDPs in partnership with General Mohammed Abdulsalami of sector 21 Barkin Ladi .
Chris made the commendation while in an interview with our correspondent in Jos , and said the return of the IDP was received with a high spirit of commitment and seriousness.
He said , senator I.D Gyang is a leader worthy of emulation by many Nigerian politicians in spite of his political differences he has demonstrated leadership by example towards building 70 housing estates for returning of IDPs.
According to him, Gyang is not the type of a politician that is pursuing wealth at the detriment of his immediate constituent but chose to accommodate well-meaning Nigerians for the benefit of all a sundry.
Chris explained further that the building that handed over 70 housing beneficiaries of these IDP in Plateau state was a well deserve commendation by our people and the rehabilitation and connection of communities in Bassa LGA with the national grid.
He added that Senator Gyang is a true reflection of the teaching of the Bible which has demonstrated that he loves and care for humanity seeing not developed love materialism and seeing him not to be a greedy person
He disclosed that the empowerment of women and youth in Plateau North is considered as one of the meaningful development in reducing poverty and providing job opportunities to all citizens.
Sam Chris urged Nigerian politicians to eschew politics of bitterness and promote harmony and peaceful coexistence for the interest of one nation.
Chris also applauded security agencies for working very hard to restore peace in the warring communities of Barkin Ladi by ensuring that they continue to leave in peace with one another.
He stressed that the son of Former President Abubakar Abdulsalami was honoured for bringing peace,love and promoting mutual respect amongst the people of B/Ladi and its environs.
