Councillorship Aspirant Drum Support For Governor Al-Makura By Rabiu Omaku

A councillorship aspirant under the aegis of the All Progressive Congress in Doma Local Government of Nasarawa state has called on the people of the state to support the present administration of the All Progressive Change (APC) under the able leadership of Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura.
Honorable Mohammed Mustapha a councillorship contender from Sarkin Dawaki ward stated this at the state party secretariat while purchasing his nomination form ahead of the forthcoming Local Government election slated for the 22/3/2014.
Mustapha identified the sitting Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura as a true democrat who deserved second term in office ,The councillorship aspirant however said the second tenure of the incumbent Governor will guarantee the consolidation of his present achievement .

“Is no longer news that Lafia the state capital was given a facelift, stating that the state capital was a glorified Local Government before the coming of the present Governor whom he described as a messiah? He in addition said supporting the sitting Governor is not an exercise in futility”.
The councillorship aspirant listed some of the string of success recorded barely three years in office to  include the construction of massive township roads in the state capital, the installation of traffic light which he said reduce the rising spate of accidents in the city center.
Other achievements he listed also includes the construction of township roads in some Local Government headquarters, According to him,”In the history of democracy in Doma Local Government, for the first time a state Governor constructed 3-4km township road.
Other achievements are the establishment of model schools in all the thirteen Local Governments and the rehabilitation and renovation of dilapidated schools.
Honorable Mohammed Mustapha also commended the chief executive for the introduction of free primary and secondary education,other holistic effort of the state Governor, According to the contender was implementation of the new minimum wage of N18, 900 accorded to workers.
He also commended the state Governor locating Army Battalion in Doma, The headquarter of Doma Local Government, On his part the councillorship aspirant  who was a card carrying member of the People’s Democratic Party, The PDP said he was foist to decamp to the ruling party due to the developmental stride of the chief executive.
Calling on the people of Sarkin Dawaki ward, Doma Local Government to turn out en-mass to acquire their membership card of the APC .
Honorable Mustapha buttress that if elected as a councilor he will accord impetus to youth and women empowerment as well support motions that has direct impact on the lives of the citizenry.
Speaking on the chance of the ruling APC winning the forthcoming Local Government elections, Hon.Mustapha Mohammed averred that the APC is at the vantage position to sweep all the elective seat  come 22/3/2014,Calling on the people of the state to support the transformation agenda  of Governor Al-Makura .
