Council Boss Says,” Traditional Rulers Most Rise Up To The Defense Of Our Nation”

The Executive Chairman of Langtang North Local Government Council, Hon Joshua Ubandoma Laven has urged the traditional rulers to continue to promote peaceful coexistence in their dormant by cautioning the subjects to be law-abiding citizens.

 

Laven stated this during the coronation of the ponzhi, HRH Lot Nden  Kadarko, and Aku Mavo ,Alh Muhammad  Asi in Wase LGA of Plateau state.

 

He said the traditional Royal fathers are the custodian of our people’s culture so they’re advice to maintain laws and Oder not to promote the parochial interest of religious, ethnic clannish affiliation.

 

Joshua employed all leadership to be careful in their daily affairs by ensuring people we should be our brother’s keeper because the council has been engaged in internal crises where lives and properties are destroyed so the joy of witnessing the installation knows no bound.

 

Joshua said the presentation of staff of office to the Ponzhi Kadarko mark a turning point in the history of Plateau state and the entire Tarok nation.

 

He encouraged that Governor Simon Lalong has proving to be a true friend of the Tarok nation by demonstrating love and understanding, he also prays that this event would settle all gray areas of conflict.

 

He noted rulers are very important in running the Local Government because the contributions of traditional rulers are sacrosanct to meaningful development of grassroots.

 

Joshua charged the Tarok nation to employ dialogue and fish out criminal elements amongst by partnering with the appropriate authority to ensure the restoration of peace in the Local Government and the country at large.

 

He also stressed that leaders and politicians should focus more on the area of resolving conflict arising from the local communities as the country undergoing challenges of internal insecurity.
