Concerned Nigerians Drum Support For Sen. Ahmed Tinubu Presidential Ambition In 2023

A group concerned  Nigerian under the aegis of Forum For Better Democracy in Nigeria, FFBDN, National Chairman Hon Check Momoh has drummed support for the Former Lagos State Governor, Senator Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu ambition for the Presidential ticket in 2023.

 

Momoh made this disclosure during the distribution of assorted grains to communities in Plateau, 30 bags of Rice,25 bags of Maize, cartons of indome noodles,20 bags of beans to both Muslims and Christians in Jos, Plateau state capital to mark the Sallah celebration.

 

 

The leader of the group,  Momoh said they’ve so much love to see who emerge as the next President of Nigeria because where we are today requires someone with high passion to unite us together as a people.

 

He gave his reasons for supporting Sen. Ahmed Tinubu’s presidential ambition saying, this exercise was base on his track records of achievement in Nigerian politics and in  Africa.

 

He said the problems Nigeria is going through now need a seasoned politician in the person of Tinubu to fix this country’s mess considering the challenges we are facing as a nation where the rate of armed robbery, kidnapping, banditry, farmers /herders crises is on the increase.

 

Momoh disclosed that Sen. Tinubu’s political contributions to the economic well-being of Lagos state and southwest Nigeria were what encourages the group to beam her searchlight on his leadership style by calling on him to come out and contest for Nigeria next  President seat.

 

According to him, we are a forum of concerned Nigerian with pedigrees that are quite interested in the future of Nigeria progress by ensuring who emerge, we want Nigeria politics to develop as one of the largest democracy in Africa.

 

We also promote the tenets of democratic principle by calling on the political class to play the games according to the dictate and rules of the game.

 

Momoh stressed that at this point the country is at crossroads so we must vote credibly, visionary leaders who can provide dividends of democracy to our people.

 

He appealed to Nigerians to shun politics of religion, bitterness, cheap blackmail, and character assassination, we must move this nation forward no matter what, he explained.

 

Momoh said the calls for Ahmed Tinubu to vie for the Presidential ticket of Nigeria were burnt out of the desire to rebuild the division across the geopolitical zones.
