A non-governmental organisation known as the Network of Jigawa Civil Society organization ( NETJIC ) has formally inaugurated its new leadership that will run the affairs of the forum in an effort to promote citizens’ engagement and Open governance.
The inauguration that took place on Tuesday was held at the Manpower Development Institute Dutse the state capital.
Those who emerged as new executives include; Comrade Mustapha Umar as Chairman, Professor Usman Haruna as Secretary, comrade Wada Jahun Finance and Ibrahim Isyaku who emerged as Communication.
Others are Barrister Musa Abubakar ALIYU and Barrister Aisha Suleiman Jahun as Legal Advisers.
The forum equally elected 14 other thematic area representatives for the smooth running of the CS group in the state.
While delivering his acceptance speech, the Newly Elected Chairman Mustapha Umar promised to run an inclusive leadership among the civil society organizations in the state.
Comrade Mustapha also assured more struggle for the betterment of Jigawa citizens and support government towards the actualization of policies and programmes .
He then, urged members of the Jigawa civil society organizition working in various sectors to support actualizing the desired goals and objectives.
