The commissioner ministry of community and rural Development,Hon.Mustapha Yahaya Idris has called on the people of Nasarawa state to support the good effort of the current Governor of Nasarawa State,Umaru Tanko Al-Makura for turning around the misfortune of the state to reality.

He gave the hint in an interview with selected Journalists ,He however described Nasarawa state under Al-Makura as a paradigm shift,The cabinet member eulogized the state Governor for embarking on the construction of Doma-Musha-Gidan Ausa -Agyaragu road,A rural road that suffers neglect by successive regimes in the state.

He added that the road when completed would of great major ease the huddles of transporting farm produce to the market considering farming as the predominant occupation of the populace.

“There is light at the end of the tunnel,He in addition revealed that the State Government has better plans for rural dwellers,Saying the state Governor has put all machineries in place for the construction of bridges cut across the three senatorial zones.

The commissioner asserted that more emphasis would also be accorded also to the construction of culverts,roads as well electrification of communities within the state in the 2016 budget. He described the delayed in the execution of rural roads,bridges and electrification to the delay in the passage of the 2016 budget.

Hon.Mustapha Idris stated that the ministry got the highest vote since it existed in the 2016 budget,The commissioner disclosed that Idadu-Agbashi-Odeni Magaji rural road were captured in this year’s budget,He added that other rural roads in Nasarawa south also include Agyaragu-Kwarra road.

Other roads are Ashige-Gidan Buba where he said bridges and culvert would be constructed to reduce the plight of people within that axis,He opined that bridges would also be constructed within Awe axis ,He further asserted that the Agyaragu-Kwarra road would be given a facelift in this year’s budget.

The Hon.commissioner said the present administration would also accord impetus to rural electrification projects,Yahays Idris called on the people of the state to remain calm,Identifying the slow pace of execution of the project to the non passage of this year’s budget.

Commenting on the bankruptcy of Local Government in the state, the commissioner for community and Rural Development tasked heads of the various councils to diverse ways of generating Internally Generated Revenue to augment the lean resource accrued to the  third tier of Government.

He appealed to youth been the backbone of every society to remain firm by eschewing violence at all times.
