Muslims have been urged to remain faithful to Allah in all their doings, for security and prosperity in life especially Nigeria.
This was part of the message contained in the Eid sermons delivered by the chief imam of Jos Sheikh Lawal Adam, held yesterday at the Ali Kaiser Central Eid Prayer ground.
Sheikh Adam said the insecurity situation that Nigeria and Nigerians are facing, could be best tackle if the People uphold the fears of Allah.
”Anyone who desists from sinning against the will of Allah on eid day, he will certainly enjoys His merciless and blessings,” the imam said.
According to him it is expected of every able Muslim to give out Zakatil Fitr (food items), to the needy as they mark the eid festivity and to also pay visitations to one another.
Sheikh Adam admonished the worshipers to out into practice the good things that the month long period of Ramadan fasting has thought them.
He tasked leaders at all levels to be just and fair in their leadership of the People.
Sheikh Adam prayed Allah to protect and guide those in leadership, while also praying for the end of insurgency in the country.
